WELCOME TO The BOBBIN STUDIO
Hello, Welcome to The Bobbin Studio, where sewing is not just a skill, it's a passion. I'm Maria Salgado, founder and sewing teacher of The Bobbin Studio.
Sewing has always been a part of my life and after 16 years working in marketing, during the summer of 2020 I decided to follow my dream and share my love of sewing with others. The studio was built and opened its doors in December that same year.
Opening the doors of the studio was the first step. Since then I've had the pleasure to teach both children and adults not only inhouse. I now also work directly with schools and other educational institutions offering After School Sewing Clubs, Holidays Camp and Tailored workshops to meet their unique needs.
For me, this is (and will continue to be) an evolving, work in progress project. Every workshop I do, every student I meet, brings a new idea and opportunity to keep developing a unique and enriching experience.
I look forward to meeting you and exploring the world of sewing together.
